Half a lady, half a boss

Sorry for the very long interval in between my blog entries. Forgive me for being all lazy and "busy". Haha! Last 15th of September, me along with The Birth Defect (A blog me and my friends have come up with but there's still nothing inside, so, yeah, soon!), went to the Goody event in SM Mall of Asia. We learned a lot about styling, blogging, modeling and the like. Overall, it was a nice experience.
I wouldn't go much on the details anymore because we're "saving" it for The Birth Defect.

Here's what I wore! :)

I still can't help laughing every time I get photographed. And because I'm really conservative, I don't really like wearing sleeveless sometimes. I'm still fond of them though.

I actually kind of regretted wearing this pair of jeans. I should have worn a different pair but since I was there already, I just went with it.

Distressed jeans from Forever21 (which I always, ALWAYS use)

Studded peplum top from Apartment 8 Clothing

Gold cuffs from Orange Soda

Sneaker wedge from Topshop

btw, I have my instagram already! follow me! :) instagram: maikkiesee

"Dalagang Filipina"

Long weekend was spent way too good. To make things short, we went to Zambales and Subic from Sunday to Monday. Casa San Miguel foundation, which is actually an art school and a museum, was worth all the hours of travel and though we weren't able to go to the beach the next day due to bad weather, the place were cozy and relaxing enough to stay at. (Shots were by mom)

Too bad though we weren't able to take photos inside the museum :( Will come back there someday for those! :D And guess who came along with us.

Shoes from Charles & Keith (Overused!)

WHAT IS DALAGANG FILIPINA =))

Dress and cape from Coco Cabana, belt from Forever 21

Only decent photo inside the museum :( Or at least, one of. Btw, I changed right after taking outfit shots because I forgot to bring shorts and was not feeling comfortable.

There ya go! sago!

Uggs in May

"Uggs in May" or "Belated Mother's day special", whichever, that's what this post is for.
For our "Belated Mother's day" celebration, we went to Baguio city! Believe me, I never planned to have an OTDS and that's the reason why I look such a minimalist (joke!) here.
Well, the truth is, I wasn't able to bring accessories because I wanted to dress comfortably and simple for this occasion.

And yes, It's not easy to pose especially when you're not used to it. I kept on laughing just because I don't usually do this! :))

(shirt from Zara, distressed jeans from Forever21, Ugg boots from Muji, bag from Thailand)

look at my ever beautiful mom! People don't usually believe but, yeah.

(tank top from Mango, cardigan from Zara, shades from Ray-Ban, shoes from Toms Shoes)

Btw, Happy Mother's Day Mi! Thanks for everything! :D

Da Vao

Yes, it's "The Vow", hahaha! Forgive my shallow happiness. Anyways, my family celebrated last holy week in Davao city! It was actually a shotgun getaway again. :))
I've never been to Davao before this trip and I've only heard few things about Davao from some of my favorite bloggers like Ms. Kryz Uy and Ms. Cheyser Pedregosa but since "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.", we booked our flights and reservations few days before the actual holy week.

'nuff said. Photo flood for the summary of the entire trip! :D

Crocodile park! :D

(Thin leather cuff from The Bead Shop, Tribal bracelet from The Walking Recessionista)

(Shirt from my brother, leggings from Forever 21, shoes from Posh Pocket Shoes

Yes, we are wacky at times.

Just wanna say, I miss Davao so much. :(

Polaris Lovin'

Polaris, mainly because It's our lovely batch's name. :">
Almost 14 years (including nursery), I've been with these people my entire life and they're truly more like my family rather than my friends. Now, we've graduated high school a.k.a. leaving our most comfortable zone, I just want to Congratulate and Good luck all of my batch mates (I know it's a little late but it's better late than never, right?)
So, skipping the drama part, last April 12, 2012, us, seniors, had our grad ball and It was hella' fun! Kudos to the organizers /:> And this is what we ( Marilyn and I) wore.

(Dress from Forever 21, Clutch from Tonic, Shoes from Charles and Keith)
She'll probably kill me if she finds out I featured her here. Btw, miss ya! :))

(Blazer and Clutch from muradito, Dress from Forever 21, shoes from Converse)

(Ring and Fox tail key chain from Thailand)
Sorry for the latter photo. 'nuff said.

Before this post ends, I just want to tell POLARIS how I terribly miss them. :(

Heritage Village

What: The Heritage Village
Where: Heritage Village, Vigan City, Philippines
P.S. It really is beyond beautiful there. I kept on saying “Ang Ganda talaga” over and over again then.

(Inner tank top from Mango, Loose tank top from my brother, ripped jeans fromForever 21, Slippers from Havaianas)
So, yeah, another exquisite place you MUST visit. The laid-back feeling was really something Vigan City have kept for so many years until now. And not to mention, the houses were tremendously old-fashioned yet It acquired extreme beauty.

Windmills

What: The Windmills in Bangui Bay
Where: Bangui Bay, Laoag, Ilocos Norte (I guess?), Philippines
P.S. It took us around 4 to 5 hours travel from the city. The Manila to Vigan city trip was around 10 hours.

The Windmills in Bangui Bay was truly amazing. Unfortunately, we got there at around 5 to 6 PM. And the sun already set. At least, we got to take awesome photos. \m/

(Bowler hat from a booth in Rockwell Bazaar, DIY polo from my brother, Armor brooch-used as a “tie” from Hong Kong, Paper bag shorts from Mango, Belt from Forever 21, Ankle boots from Zara)

Apology for the low-quality photo. This was edited since our photos were dark and the ones with the flash on was ugh, awful. Anyway, here are some of the photos.

One of the must-see places in the world. Believe me. :)
